HOW
TO GET TO CIVETTA
CAR:
The Civetta Ski network is in the north-east part
of the province of Belluno, which is a little over
100 km (70 miles) north of Venice.
- To reach it from the south, take
the A27, the Mestre-Belluno motorway. Then continue
on the main road SS 203, called "Argodina",
which takes you to Alleghe in about an hour. Otherwise
take the motorway to Ponte nelle Alpi and join
the main road SS 51 ("Alemagna") which
goes past Val di Zoldo. Selva di Cadore can be
reached from both directions.
- From the west, you can reach Civetta
from the A22 motorway for the Brenner Pass, leaving
at Ora. Then go towards Val di Fiemme, along the
whole length of Val di Fassa to Canazei, where
you take the Passo Fedaia to get to Alleghe. For
Val di Zoldo and Selva di Cadore, turn at Caprile
(4 km before Alleghe).
- Coming from Germany and Austria,
take the A22 motorway from the Brenner Pass and
leave at Bressanone. Go towards Brunico and then
to Val Badia. Once you reach Val Badia, you can
choose between two alternative ways:
1. Main road SS 48, called "Dolomiti"
(Passo Campolongo - Arabba - Alleghe - Val di
Zoldo - Selva di Cadore) or
2. Passo Valparola and then Passo
Falzarego to Selva di Cadore - Alleghe - Zoldo
